The Launch of the #WorkEqual Conference Report

The inaugural #WorkEqual conference took place at The Marker Hotel, Dublin, last November. Now, we’re delighted to invite you to join us for the launch of the report and recommendations arising from that event. The launch will take place online next Wednesday, 5th August, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

Based on the input of all delegates at the event, the #WorkEqual conference report contains recommendations for government, employers and individuals across five key headings:

Caring responsibilities;

Societal gender norms;

Flexible working;

Women in leadership; and

The gender pay gap.

At next week’s launch, Professor Michelle Millar – who co-authored the conference report with our founder Sonya Lennon – will present a summary of the recommendations. We will then hold a panel discussion with input from special guests, representing the perspectives of government, employers and individuals.

In the aftermath of the launch event, we will continue to engage with political, business and civic society leaders to ensure the report’s recommendations are promoted and implemented.
